Rick Bahr President and CEO
Founder and President/CEO of WMI Global, LLC, Richard Bahr has had an extensive and comprehensive professional sports medicine and emergency medicine career that spans the globe. Rick worked his first Olympics in 1984 as an Athletic Trainer / EMT and went on to work with the 1988, 92, and 96 National / Olympic Teams with USA Volleyball. He developed and directed the medical operations for the ABVL and WBVL Pro Beach Volleyball Tours from 1990 – 97 and built WMI Global, LLC into the largest and most premier Event Risk Management, Safety, Medical, and Rescue Operations on the planet.
Rick developed and implemented a multidisciplinary approach to sports medicine and emergency medicine in the 1990’s that has grown into one of the most highly sought after Fellowships in the medical industry today. With a focus on live television - high trauma events like action sports and racing, WMI Global has become the global leader in Medical / Rescue Operations for these events as well as the global leader in Risk Management and Safety for the Promoters, Federations, and Broadcast Television Networks of these events.
Rick’s expertise in Event Risk Management and Safety is highly sought as he and WMI Global are contracted specifically for events and sports with the IOC governing organization UCI, GSX, Red Bull R.Evolution SX, Alli Sports / NBC Universal Global Dew Tours, NBC Universal Environmental Safety, and London Olympic Organizing Committee to name a few. Rick develops and implements emergency action plans, disaster plans, medical operations plans, and rescue plans globally for the largest events, world cups, and world championships on the planet and is known as an authority in this area by many Government, Province, State, and City/ Municipal organizations for his experience and expertise in this unique area.

Anne S. Boyd M.D., FACSM
Anne Boyd is the Primary Care Sports Medicine Physician for Concord Orthopedics, in Concord, NH. Her goal is to share her enthusiasm for medicine with both colleagues and patients, and to assist patients in understanding their health and achieving their optimum lifestyle. Dr. Boyd holds a Certificate of Specialty Qualification in Sports Medicine.
Previously Dr. Boyd was the Director for The Primary Care Sports Medicine Fellowship Program at the University Of Pittsburgh Medical Center where she was recognized as “Top Doctor” in the city of Pittsburgh in the Pittsburgh Magazine for 2006, 2007, 2008, and 2009.
She was also recognized as “Pittsburgh’s 50 Finest” by Whirl Magazine in 2009. She is a recipient of the 11th Annual Faculty Teaching Award provided by the University Of Pittsburgh Department Of Family Medicine.
Dr. Boyd received her degree from Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine in Cleveland, Ohio. She was a recipient of Academic and Clinical Honors in Surgery, Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, Dermatology and Psychiatry. She also received the Award for Distinction in the field of Family Medicine.
Keith S. Feder, M.D.
Dr. Feder is a Board Certified Orthopedic Surgeon, Medical Director of the West Coast Center for Orthopedic Surgery and Sports Medicine, Founder of the West Coast Sports Medicine Foundation and Past Chairman of the Department of Orthopedic Surgery at Centinela Hospital. Dr. Feder is a Clinical Assistant Professor- UCLA School of Medicine as well past chief of Sports Medicine at the UCLA-Harbor Orthopedic Residency Program. Dr. Feder is the Director of The Cartilage Restoration Center and the Medical Director of the Team to Win Sports Medicine program.
Dr. Feder lends his sports medicine expertise as a committee member of the NFHS (National Federation of High Schools) and the CIF State safety committee and was appointed by the Governor of the State of California as a member of the Board of Trustees of the Health Professions Education Foundation. He is a graduate of SUNY Downstate Medical School, New York, followed by an internship and residency in orthopedic surgery at SUNY Downstate Medical Center, New York. Dr. Feder is fellowship trained in arthroscopic surgery and sports medicine. He is the author of multiple chapters and peer reviewed articles in the Orthopedic Surgery literature as well an Associate Editor of Foot and Ankle International, the signature publication of the American Orthopedic Society for Foot and Ankle Surgery. Dr Feder is a member of the American Orthopedic Society for Sports Medicine (AOSSM) and the Arthroscopy Association of North America (AANA).
Dr. Feder co-created the Team to Win program to provide sports medicine expertise and treatment to low income, at risk student athletes of Los Angeles, the first of it’s kind in Los Angeles. His participation in high school and collegiate athletics has given him first-hand knowledge of what can occur during sports participation. His expertise in sports medicine is the reason professional athletes and sports organizations, such as USA Weightlifting, the DEW-NBC Action Tour, Cal State University Dominguez Hills, L.A. Southwest College, L.A. Harbor College, the Nike Real Run Professional Basketball League, and the Los Angeles Rugby Club, depend on him as their Chief Orthopedic Consultant. Dr. Feder served as Medical Director/Team Physician and Chief Orthopedic Consultant to the Long Beach Ice Dogs IHL Hockey Team for 7 years as well as the AVP (Association of Volleyball Professionals) for 10 years, and the L.A. Triathlon. Dr. Feder participated as a Team Physician in the 1996 Summer Olympics (Beach Volleyball) and the 2000 Summer Olympics (Olympic Weight Lifting). Dr. Feder is an orthopedic consultant to the National Hockey League (NHLPA) Players Association.
John Foggle, MD, MBA
John L. Foggle, MD, MBA, is an assistant professor of emergency medicine at the Warren Alpert School of Medicine at Brown University, and is an attending emergency physician at Rhode Island Hospital and Hasbro Children’s Hospital.
Dr. Foggle earned his Bachelor of Arts from Dartmouth College in 1981, his medical degree from the University of Rochester School of Medicine & Dentistry in 1989, and his MBA from the Yale School of Management in 1997.
He has completed residencies in internal medicine and emergency medicine at Yale-New Haven Hospital, and is board-certified in both specialties. His areas of academic interest include international emergency medicine – he has worked in China, Haiti, Liberia, Nicaragua, the Middle East, Saudi Arabia, the Ukraine, and Vietnam – disaster planning, wilderness medicine, and simulator-based medical education.
In addition to his teaching and clinical work, Dr. Foggle has served as medical support for WMI at a number of sports events, and has years of experience as a health care consultant at both community and academic medical centers.
Chris Gee, MD
Christopher Gee, MD, is an Assistant Professor of Surgery (Emergency Medicine) and is the Associate Fellowship Director for Primary Care Sports Medicine. Chris grew up in nearby Spanish Fork, Utah, and is glad to return back to his home state to practice Emergency Medicine. Chris graduated from Brigham Young University with a BS in Zoology, and then went to chocolate town USA (Hershey, PA) to attend Medical School at Pennsylvania State University (Go Lions!).
He completed residency in Emergency Medicine at the University of Rochester, in Rochester, NY, where he served as Chief Resident from 2006-2007. Chris stayed in Rochester to complete a Sports Medicine Fellowship before coming back to Utah in 2008.
Chris is very active in and out of the ED, and covers many sporting events throughout Utah including Football, Hockey, Bobsled, and even BMX. He is currently the Salt Lake City Marathon Medical Director, and the team physician for the Park City Pioneers and the University of Utah Hockey Clubs. He also works in the Ski Clinic at the base of the Park City Mountain Resort.
Chris enjoys getting outdoors with his wife and 4 kids. He likes riding his mountain bike and motorcycle all over the valley. He loves skiing and attending any type of sporting event.
Valerie Herzog, EdD, LAT, ATC
Valerie Herzog, EdD, LAT, ATC, serves as the Graduate Athletic Training Program Director at Weber State University in Ogden, UT, and has worked as a Certified Athletic Trainer since 1993. In 2005, she was awarded Athletic Trainer of the Year in WV and has served on the Board of Certification Board of Directors. She completed her bachelors degree in Athletic Training at Alderson-Broaddus College (WV), her masters degree in Athletic Training at the University of Virginia, and her doctoral degree in Higher Education Administration at Marshall University (WV).
She has served with conference development on the state, district, and national levels. She chaired the committees responsible for planning the educational program for the Utah Athletic Trainers’ Association and Rocky Mountain Athletic Trainers’ Association for several years each. She serves on the National Athletic Trainers’ Association Convention Planning Committee, where she is responsible for planning and coordinating the Special Topics Presentations (formerly known as workshops) as well as the Peer-to-Peer Discussions. In addition, she serves on the Board of Certification Athletic Training Regulatory Conference Advisory Panel.
Dr. Herzog has also published several manuscripts and given several presentations at state, district, and national Athletic Training Conferences on topics including Pain Theories, the Pregnant Athlete, Leadership, Interview Skills, and Resume Preparation.
Selim Suner, MD, MS
Selim Suner MD, MS is a physician board certified in emergency medicine. He graduated from the Alpert Medical School of Brown University after completing graduate studies in Biomedical Engineering and Neuroscience. Dr. Suner is the team leader for RI-1 DMAT, a federal disaster team based in Rhode Island. He has responded as part of the federal response to many local and foreign disaster scenes, including ice storm in Upstate New York, Egypt Air Crash off the shores of MA, September 11, 2001 terrorist attack in NYC and multiple hurricane landings, particularly Katrina in coastal Mississippi.
Dr. Suner has also been involved in large mass gathering and sports medicine events as physician and planner for the past 20 years. His expertise is in conducting medical operations in austere environments and disaster planning. Dr. Suner is an Associate Professor of Emergency Medicine, Surgery and Engineering at Brown University. His clinical practice is at Rhode Island Hospital with an annual emergency department patient volume of 150,000, where he is the Chairman of the Emergency Preparedness Committee. Dr. Suner teaches undergraduate, graduate and medical school courses at Brown University. Dr. Suner incorporates medical simulation technology into training programs. Dr. Suner also conducts research. His areas of interest include, mass gathering medicine, carbon monoxide toxicity, airway diseases and projects involving technology translation.
Shane Espinoza, DC, CCSP®, CKTP Vice President of WMI Global
Dr. Shane Espinoza received his bachelor's degree in Human Biology from the University of New Mexico and his doctorate from Western States Chiropractic College. He then obtained his Certified Chiropractic Sports Physician® designation. He is a former board member of the American Chiropractic Association Sports Council. Throughout his career he has had the privilege to treat Olympians, pro athletes, collegiate and recreational athletes.
Dr. Espinoza served on the medical team of the US Olympic Time Trials in 2008 and again in 2010, the Gorge Games in 2007, USA Triathlon in 2005, USA Taekwondo National Qualifier in 2007, the Portland Marathon from 2003 to 2010, World Bench Press and Dead-lift Championships in 2004, USGA Women's Amateur Golf Championships in 2006 and the LPGA Safeway Classic in 2010 and 2011. He has provided and supervised care at numerous other events throughout the Portland metro over the years alongside WMI Global.
Dr. Espinoza is the Vice President of Operations for WMI Global, LLC, the premiere emergency and event medicine team for events such as the Dew Tour, Race the Reaper, AA Sports, Ltd., the Seaside Beach Volleyball Tournament, the Thai Boxing Association and numerous other sporting events.

Nicholas Bahr Executive Administration Assistant
Nick overseas the administrative operations of the WMI Global 24/7 Administrative Team. He and his team are responsible for all pre event planning, onsite administration, and post event operations.
Nick received his Associate of Arts, Business Administration and Management, General at MiraCosta College. He is pursuing his Bachelor of Business Administration, Crisis/Emergency/Disaster Management at Colorado State University Global.
In his spare time, Nick enjoys spending time in the ocean surfing, exploring the backcountry snowboarding, roasting and drinking coffee, and living an active lifestyle.
Kristin Millward Administration Assistant
Kristin helps organize medical aspects of the high profile events WMI Global has around the world from staffing, to assisting with event scheduling and travel arrangements.
Kristin is the epitome of customer service with high profile athletes. She handles athlete and staff medical documentation, and any other necessary medical and statistical paperwork.
In her free time, Kristin enjoys the serenity of snowboarding in Utah's finest resorts.
Tamara L Lovelace DC, DACBSP, ICCSP, CKTP Medical Director of Events
Dr. Lovelace began her career shortly after graduating Summa Cum Laude from the University of Western States in 2001. She was selected by the school for participation in an intensive three year residency program in radiology and diagnostic imaging. Upon completion of the program in 2004 she was quickly retained by one of the most prestigious chiropractic sports injuries clinics on the West Coast.
In 2011 she completed a program in advanced sports medicine that earned her the designation of Diplomate of the American Chiropractic Board of Sports Physicians (DACBSP), and in 2014 she earned the designation of Internationally Certified Chiropractic Sports Physician, these are the highest designations that a chiropractic physician can achieve in this field.
Dr. Lovelace has worked extensively with athletes of all genres, from the high school to the professional level. She was honored to be selected in 2014 as one of the Team Doctors for the US Bobsled and Skeleton teams leading up to the 2018 Winter Olympics in Pyeonchang, South Korea. Dr. Lovelace's experience led her to be selected as a member of the WMI Global Team for the Dew Tour, a professional action sports tour, since 2005. In 2008 she was given the position of Director of Athlete Medical and Rehabilitation, and in 2014 she worked as the Medical Director for the Brooklyn and Breckenridge tour stops. Dr. Lovelace currently works for WMI Global as the acting Medical Director for the 2015 Dew Tour season.

Scott Blatt, DC, ATC, EMT Medical Director of Events
Scott Blatt, DC, ATC, EMT founded Body Logic Sports Therapy in 1993. Twenty-one years later, he realized his vision to create a multi-disciplinary sports medicine team, including opening Westlake Sports Therapy, Inc., in 2003. Scott obtained his B.S. in Health Sciences from California State University at Northridge in 1989, and graduated Summa Cum Laude as a Doctor of Chiropractic in 1992 from Southern California University of Health Science. He became a Certified Chiropractic Sports Physician in 1994 and attained his Athletic Trainer Certified license in 1996, when he also interned for the Oakland Raiders Football Club.
Scott has combined his desire to travel with his professional calling and has been a staff team doctor for the Association of Surfing Professionals, Association of Volleyball Professionals and USA Beach Volleyball, providing health care and managing sports medicine teams for Olympic and U.S. athletes all around the world.
Scott's passion for learning constantly expands his expertise through a continuing series of specialized post-graduate studies and ensures that he provides the latest innovations in treatment and care for all of his patients. Incorporating services at Body Logic including chiropractic, physical therapy, x-ray, massage therapy, acupuncture, athletic training, sports performance and conditioning, his team interfaces daily, including with referring orthopedists, to create the best seamless and individualized treatment and recovery plan for every patient, all overseen by Scott. In addition, Scott has been the Head Athletic Trainer for Westlake High School since 1995 providing assessment and management of nearly 1,000 student athletes participating in 12 different sports annually, including sideline evaluations for all contact sports. Scott recently became a part of WMI Global, an international team of multi-discipline professionals providing acute evaluation, care and team management at events such as the BMX Supercross World Championships, BMX U.S. Supercross Championships, and Dew Tours. Greg Steele EMS Manager
Born and raised as a true Colorado Cowboy, Greg began his career in EMS in 1987 as an EMT in Denver, CO. Greg continued with American Medical Response as an EMT Field Instructor. He became a Paramedic in 1996 and moved to Operations Supervisor in 1999. Greg Moved into the Communications Center in Denver as AMR Communications Supervisor in 2009 and is currently the AMR Communications Chief for Boulder Operations. With his Paramedic Certifications, and he continues to work Rodeos throughout the mountain states.
Greg started working with WMI Global in 2005 as the EMS Manager of the Dew Tour. Greg is the current acting EMS Manager for WMI Global. When home, he enjoys spending time with his wife Christy, Daughter Jennifer and Granddaughter Molly. In what spare time Greg has, he enjoys, shooting, fishing and camping.
Gerard Bogin, DC, DACBSP®, CSCS®, EMT Event Manager
Dr. Gerard Bogin is a Board Certified Chiropractic Sports Physician. He is also a Diplomate of the American Chiropractic Board of Sports Physicians. Gerard holds a Certification as a Strength and Conditioning Specialist. Dr. Bogin is a Treating Physician for the PGA Tour Sports Medicine Staff. Gerard began working with WMI Global in 2013 as a medical provider at the Ragnar Relay Florida Keys.
In 2014, Gerard was a WMI Global Venue Medical Manager at the Dew Tours in Ocean City and Brooklyn. Gerard is currently an Event Manager for WMI Global.

Anne Sorrentino, DC, DACBSP, EMT-B Manager of WMI Global Database of Providers Event Manager
Dr. Anne Sorrentino graduated from St. John's University with a B.S. in Pharmacy in 1982 and practiced pharmacy in both the hospital and retail settings in New York and Iowa. She received her Doctor of Chiropractic from Palmer College of Chiropractic, graduating cum laude in 1988 and teaching Toxicology while in attendance. Anne became a Certified Chiropractic Sports Physician (CCSP®) in 1995 and received her Diplomate in Sports Chiropractic (DACBSP®) in 2012. She practices the specialty field of sports chiropractic in Indiana, Pennsylvania, and Tysons Corner, Virginia, treating athletes from injury outset, through all phases of healing.
Dr. Sorrentino has served on many sports medical teams including USA Track and Field Nationals in Des Moines, Iowa, the Pennsylvania Keystone Games and many more. She served clinical rotations at the United States Olympic Training Centers, working with athletes from USA Women's and Men's Wrestling, Cycling, Weightlifting and USA Bobsled. She is the team doctor for the Indiana University of Pennsylvania (IUP) Men's and Women's Ice Hockey Teams.
In April 2014, Dr. Anne Sorrentino was honored with the prestigious "Sports Chiropractor of the Year" Award from the American Chiropractic Board of Sports Physicians. Selected from a field of 5700 sports chiropractors, Anne is only the third woman to ever receive this award.
Anne teaches "Emergency Procedures" and "Chiropractic Management of the Extremities" for continuing education of sports chiropractic physicians. She serves as an instructor for: Active Release Techniques (ART®), CPR, and is a certified SpiderTech Taping Instructor. Other certifications include NKT (NeuroKinetic Therapy) and Dry Needling.
Dr. Sorrentino is an EMT and a ski patroller, an avid golfer, runner, cyclist and kayaker. She combines her love of sports with her love of helping athletes improve their sports performances for top competitive form.
Dr. Anne Sorrentino joined WMI Global, LLC, in 2013 as a medical provider for the Dew Tour Breckenridge. She is the Manager of the WMI Global Database of Providers. She ensures WMI Global provides our events with only the highest caliber of medical professionals. Anne is a Medical Manager for the Dew Tour and Ragnar Relay Series.
Karson Mui, DC, C.C.S.P. ®, C.K.T.P. ®, C.G.T, F.A.K.T. R. ® Event Manager
Dr. Karson Mui graduated top of his class from Palmer College of Chiropractic Florida and continues to purse learning additional therapies to expand his capabilities. He is well versed in providing treatment for sports injuries, physical rehabilitation as well as pain management. Whiplash, brain injury, and scoliosis are a few areas of his expertise.
Dr. Mui currently owns and manages Mui Chiropractic and Sports Medicine. A multidisciplinary office which incorporates chiropractic, physical therapy, as well as sports massage. They provide evidence guided rehabilitation services to patients from West Newton and the surrounding areas. With their top-notch professional care, their facility provides a full suite of services to their patients.
Dr. Mui is the founder of New England Sports Medicine Council, which represents highly skilled sports physicians' teaching fellow practitioners.
Dr. Mui recently volunteered for the third time at the Boston Marathon. He worked in the main medical tent at the finish line. Having gone through the tragic experience of the 2013 Boston Marathon bombing, Dr. Mui continues to choose to return to future Boston marathon races to support and serve as a medical volunteer.
In 2011, Karson began working for WMI Global at the Dew Tour as a medical provider. His experience prepared him as a first responder where he has coordinated and managed traumas from working these high trauma events. Dr. Mui is a Medical Manager for the Dew Tour and Ragnar Relay Series.

Shane Ott, DC, C.G.T Event Manager
Dr. Ott grew up in Portland, Oregon and after graduating from High School, he decided to enlist in the United States Navy. He spent most of his 12 year tenure as a Hospital Corpsman with the Marines stationed in the San Diego area and has always loved the atmosphere and vibe that the city brings. Dr. Shane Ott attended the University of Oregon and majored in Human Physiology. He earned his Doctorate of Chiropractic at the prestigious Life Chiropractic College West. Dr Ott is highly regarded by his patients and colleagues as a man of professionalism, respect, and as a leader in the realm of sports injury prevention in San Diego.
Dr. Ott is certified as a Fascial Movement Taping practitioner a certification that is very sought after by the Crossfit community because of its effectiveness on blood flow for tissue repair and helps to keep proper biomechanics while exercising. Dr Ott also holds a certification in Graston Technique® which has proven time and time again to be the most effective soft tissue mobilization technique by professional athletes.
Dr Ott considers himself a lifetime athlete. Over the last couple of years Dr. Ott has entered several running races that include anything from a 5k to a 25k. His goals for the upcoming year are to run a ½ marathon every month along with a 50k in March and 50 mile Ultramarathon in May. He has specifically designed his own training program that includes Crossfit workouts 2-3 times a week.
Dr Ott has participated and excelled in many sports over the years including football, wrestling, baseball, track, martial arts, snow skiing, water skiing, and wakeboarding. His diverse background in sports, sports injuries and the prevention of those injuries gives Dr. Ott the "first-hand" knowledge of what it takes to Live, Be, and Stay Active!
Dr. Ott currently lives in San Diego with his wife, 2 children, and a golden retriever. You may even see him and his wife occasionally riding the open countryside on his Harley Davidson.
